On October 14-16, 2016, Bitsy Grant Tennis Center will be hosting the prestigious Keith Donoff Challenge Cup. The Donoff Cup is a Men’s Senior Intersectional Team Competition between the Middle States, Midwest and Southern Sections and features some of the top players in the country.
The event is named in honor of Keith Donoff from the Midwest Section. Keith had captained six national intersectional USTA/Midwest Section teams and had played in over ten intersectional events.
Each Section will field teams in the Men’s 55s, 60s, 65s and 70s divisions. The Texas Section was slated to play as well but had to withdraw because of a scheduling conflict. As a result, the Southern Section will be fielding two teams this year. The Southern Section has won the Donoff Cup the past two years and will be looking for a “three-peat”.
Spectators are strongly encouraged to attend each day of the event as it will feature superior competition and sportsmanship.
